WoodTreat project at the International Academy of Wood Science
The WoodTreat project was proud to partecipate in the International Academy of Wood Science, at prestigious event that brought togheter researchers, industry representatives, and expert to discuss the future of the wood sector and the challenges of sustainable innovation.
Among the key messages emerging from the event, Stergios Adamopoulus of SLU (Swedish university of Agricoltural Sciences), coordinator of the WoodTreat project, highlighted the need for the woodbased panel industry to move beyond convetional resource-efficient production toward more circular, resilient, and fossil free system. Achieving this transition will require strong collaboration between industria and academia, supporting by interdisciplinary research and innovation.
This principles are closely aligned with the objective of WoodTreat project, which is commited to advincing sustainable solutions for the wood sector and contributing to the developement of a more circular and climate-neutral bioeconomy.
Partecipating in the International Academy of Wood Science provided a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, strenghthen collaboration, and explore new pathways for innovation in woodbased materials and tecnologies.
